Will your puppy fit on the couch?
Predict your puppy's adult weight using the standard veterinary growth-curve method. Most puppies hit their adult weight between 12 and 24 months depending on size category.
How this works
Veterinary growth charts establish that puppies reach a predictable percentage of adult weight at each age, with the percentage depending on breed size. A small breed at 4 months has hit ~60% of adult weight, while a giant breed at 4 months is only at ~30%. We use AAHA-aligned growth curves and present a confidence range because individual variation is real (parent size, neutering, nutrition).
